instead of just having "more vehicles" can we try having smarter vehicle pools...
For Example instead of grouping MBTs, Wildcat, Bolte and RAM into one category DICE could make the MBTs and WIldcat two seperate options with one each as well as group the RAm and Bolte into a APC category. Same applies to helis and jets really. Instead jets should have a seperate category with one dedicated slot as well. now you have The wildcat countering helis and APCs at all times on the map, jets countering helis and other jets, helis countering infantry and MBTs, MBTs countering Wildcat, APCs and other MBTs....
you know so you do not get maps where 2-3 stealth choppers just ruin the match for the rest....
I think the lack of maps for the variety of different play styles in this game as well as the inability to choose which maps people want to play is the real issue.
Previous titles had infantry-focused maps for people that prefer that style of play as well as large vehicle heavy maps, with a lot of the remaining maps being a mishmash of the two. Maps like Metro and Locker could appeal to the players that liked that sort of meatgrinder maps while the remaining players could enjoy the more "Battlefield" like maps that had more vehicles.
The vehicle asset distribution is this 128-player game is woefully thin compared to prior BF 64-player titles there is no way to deny it.
Take Golmud Railway (64-player map in total keep in mind so one would think 128-player map should be double, yes?)
Each side got
4 light vehicles (jeeps, Humvees, buggies)
5 Main Battle Tanks
1 Anti-Aircraft Tank
2 Helicopters (1 Transport/Little Bird and 1 Attack Chopper)
2 Jets (1 Fighter and 1 Ground Attacker)
