Weapon balance needed ASAP

At this point it seems like the first 2 SMG’s run the game

  • No kidding. I'm watching flags being lost to single squads wiping out about ten people solely because they carry a PP-29. Seems to frequently only hit the head, and I've been killed by three hits from one, at full health, over 100m away. This is after I unloaded rifle fire on the player. Its an absolute laser gun that, like the 416 in BF4, seems to double as additional body armour for how much the player carrying one seems to tank incoming damage. 

    Honestly sucking the fun out of the experience.

    It was happens when smg are laser beams that can shoot across the map and have no recoil and AR can barely hit things with the most ridiculous recoil ever.

    beta gunplay was the best

  • This is basically my biggest issue atm... Sure, hovercrafts are annoying but having the 2 SMG's outperform AR's on range, dmg and recoil (and in case of the PP29, also a 54 round mag) without a single attachment it seriously ticks me off...

    My guess is they swapped dmg/range/recoil from SMG's and AR's because this bullet spread on AR's makes no sense... I'm crouching and still, aiming perfectly at someone and I hit everything near him and if I'm lucky, 1 bullet will graze him... giving away my location and him spraying me down in 0.2 secs with a PP29 ☹️

    M5A3 dominated in the Beta, but it didn't feel this bad. I got into three firefights with three different people. Two had ARs and I beat them out. Last one had a PP-29 and it was basically over before it started, with a perfect headshot. It again seems to even shield them from gunfire as well, as they tend to take more hits (even without armour) or sometimes not at all.
