That would be a great idea.
However, not sure if each weapon will have their own level progression and unlock attachments as you using it, or you just unlock all the attachments as you level up and use it for your weapons.
Overall, I'm still fine with 4 categories for modifications, because in BF5 the only mod you can do is the scope, rest are cosmetic.
But I'm sure they will add weapon skin in the battle pass as well for cosmetic.
@ExGravity If that's the case, then, hopefully the attachments will have a direct impact to the weapons behaviour, not just cosmetics. I mean, I also hope to see lots of different skins to weapons
