@TasharaFusJust based on the currently released information / screens / gameplay, we will see a big, full selection of modern weapons, just with later version nomenclature tacked onto them, like the “M5A1”, to make them seem / sound futuristic.
The chosen setting should also give EA DICE some creative liberty to design optics and attachments that already exist without violating IP rights, while also creating near-future attachments as well.
Having real-world partnerships with gun / optic makers would be great, but I am sure that would also risk offending the more politically correct types as it relates to gun rights, so I am sure EA DICE will just choose to dodge that issue entirely.
@carsono311This is the problem with threads like this from 'real world users', they have no idea about 'real world licensing laws' and potential associated costs and litigation.
