Weapons Not Firing (Sometimes)

Edited to clarify that it's vehicle weapons not firing sometimes. Come to find out, it's not my mouse. It's the game.

Do any of you have an issue sometimes where your vehicle weapon simply won't fire? Often times, during an intense fight, I can be firing my weapon and then it just stops firing for some reason. No, I'm not out of ammo! No, the enemy hasn't hacked me! No, the weapon hasn't overheated! It simply won't shoot (sometimes). This has happened a lot to me and has caused many deaths because of it. Not sure if it's an issue with the game, or perhaps something going on with my mouse. I'm using a Logitech G 403 wired mouse by the way. I guess it's possible I've nearly worn out the left-click mouse button. Afterall, it's been through 2 or 3 Battlefield games!

    @Doo-Doo-DrawsTry testing the mouse first. Simplest test is to open paint, hold left click and drag it across the screen. Do it for 5 mins then report your results.

    @Doo-Doo-Draws Like Plumber said, you could try using paint. There's also online checkers to see what buttons are activating and if they're turning on and off while you're holding down the button.

    I've personally had weapons sputter in this game on occasion. Now that I think of it, it has happened in quite a while, but used to be an issue for me.

    There's definitely input delay at times. Not all the time, just when you need things to work the most, a button press won't register. It's infuriating.

    Its a game bug (one of many) more often happens after been revived or reloading gun.

    When this has happened to me, I just assumed I was already dead and the game was blocking my input.

    Hasn't happened in a while though.

    I *think* what you are experiencing is that you have been killed - and the game stops you shooting when you are dead. At least you are dead on the servers, it just hasn't made it's way to your client (game).

    It may appear like "I had plenty of time for a shot to go off", but in reality, you are talking about milliseconds. It just feels like "I had a whole second of time"

    @sk1lld I had this happen with my VERY old Razer Deathader mouse. After having it for years and multiple BF titles, left click finally gave up and began skipping clips and releasing hold for no reason when holding the button.

    I don't recall anything similar happening as an in-game bug though.
