I didn't even realise the SOFLAM had scope glint. 

I mean it makes sense, but I never even considered it.

Back in BF3/4 I guess it was solved perfectly. Soflam only showed for pilots as a red glint if i remember correctly. And subtly so that it was a fair chance to mark a bit undetectedly for infantry but the pilot could also notice it if he pays attention. Loved that.
