Weekly Missions, Unlocks, and Battlepass Content Suggestions
Battlefield had been one of my favorite shooters I am happy they didn't give up on 2042 because I honestly thought it would be my last BF game after disappointing BFV and 2042. I am enjoying the game more now a days. Its just missing better squad management and some sort of rewards system. I remember in previous battlefield how good it felt to take someones dog tags and collect them. And the ribbons for certain game accomplishments like kills from certain distances, multikills, and other things. Its almost there just missing those small key details that dont seem important but really add to the game. The weekly missions is the perfect example as they keep me coming back every week. Also the missions to unlock vault weapons. I wish it was more dynamic for attachments like a certain amount of headshots for a new scope.
Here is my idea fleshed out a bit:
Season Rewards/Unlocks
- Battlepass content (Already Have)
Weekly Rewards/Unlocks
- Weekly Missions (Already Have)
- When all weekly missions are complete maybe a limited time cosmetic reward or player card
Persistent Rewards/Unlocks
- Gun Unlock Missions (Already Have)
- Gun Attachments Unlock Missions - Instead of just xp points or kills with the gun maybe more dynamic like (Ex. Kills at 100m, or headshots, or kills while prone)
- Ribbons/Dog Tags UI overhaul - I remember things like seeing how many times an enemy player has killed you in a match and being able to see whose dog tags you have taken, and ribbons for certain actions completed in a game like multi-kills or 10+ revives in a game or MVP ribbons. Those were very rewarding to see even if they don't directly impact gameplay.
- Hazard Zone lost content finds - Along with data drives maybe finding blue prints or puzzle pieces to blue prints for content that is no longer available to be unlocked in games from past seasons.
Community Missions
- Community Missions or unlocks by joining no-pat factions and taking a cumulative total of things like objectives capture or revives.
Just suggestions. Thoughts?
