@TickTack121 It was very bad. This game has no direction in game design, tone, and marketing as we now see because it's trying to be everything to everybody.

Aside from the fact that its all CG and not real gameplay footage - my first thought was, ah this now makes sense. It's def aimed at a younger audience. And i never ever will understand why the design of that Mackay character was approved. Looks like a cartoon out of the Incredibles or something. No moaning will change their direction. It is what it is.

@BuzzfunkI was about to add to my post above that DICE do indeed bend backwards now to appeal more to kids than to the normal Battlefield customers, but you beat me to it 🙂
- 4 years ago@VOLBANKER_PC BF is becoming more of a parody of itself. Ok its only a game. Thats why ive been telling myself it just is what it is and we can't change it.
- VOLBANKER_PC4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Buzzfunk Well, it makes me sad. I’m not a “real BF veteran” as I only started playing from BF4 and onwards, but that doesn’t change the fact that I really like the franchise. I don’t play any computer games at all except for Battlefield - I even bought one of the new consoles with the sole purpose of playing the then upcoming Battlefield game on it. To see the people behind the game turn in into something so fundamentally different from what previous games in the franchise were about…it just sucks.

Mackay may as well be the scout from team fortress 2. Looks quite like him.
- 4 years ago@TAYTER-GUN THATS who that reminds me off. Holy s****. Its the most cartoon character Dice ever put into a BF game. I will never figure out HOW that entire design was green lid. The beta was pure bad comedy. So many Mackeys ran around. I was thinking "How would they possibly be ok with his". Well i guess they are.
