The audio is really not working right. I’ll assume I just have my settings wrong. Currently I have 3D audio enabled on the console, using pulse 3D headphones, and select 3D headphones in game. I basically get no positional audio at all. I just hear “footsteps” not even left or right separation.what’s the ideal/intended setting?

@Supernova_xoxo Pretty sure he must have put his headset on backwards then because that is not the case.Both the surround mix and 3d audio settings are pretty lousy but the direction is there its just not sepperated very well.The footsteps are completely terrible. Often you hear footsteps that sound like someone is right beside you, but when you look they are running 50 meters out in the distance. Other times its the opposit where someone sounds far away while they are right next to you.

@Vanluke_77Hello Brother , on PS5 you'll have to choose between two completely different sets, it's either Surround Audio with Virtual Surround on Or 3D Audio with Virtual Surround Off

For 3D Audio Profile
If your headset doesn't have a switch to turn off the Virtual Surround, try using the Headset's Application on PC

@G-Recons The audio is still super flat with almost 0 directional audio and no distance. If I hear someone I hear them I can’t tell how far away or which side really

I tested all the audio settings on my PS5, they're all not very good. Even war tapes is pretty quiet so it's not your settings, it's how they reproduced the sound and it is definitely up to previous Battlefield standards.
