What happened to the real Battlefield gameplay (a look into it's decline)

sad truth is they were trying to bring brain dead players to their game in hardline, which brought a new trash community that they preferred to listen to after bf1 release.  They are trying to appeal to the other AAA companies.  2042 was a perfect example that they threw the og community to the corner and made a game that was going to be a Garbage battle royale game and switched last second.  Any one who asks for BR in battlefield if causing its collapse
