- A sensible spawn system: Predicable, open spawnpoints (and that daft "weapon check" animation) are the only thing in 2042 that have made me ragequit a game.
- Squad VOIP: This is absolutely vital - if you have no mates who play 2042, how else are you supposed to make some?
- Sound that isn't overcompressed and muddy: I've lost count of the number of times I've died because the sound is so compressed that I don't hear that Bolte or Nightbird 5m away...
- A proper range of weapons. It's more common to notice that you didn't die to the AC-42, K30 or PKP.
To be fair, there are a host of other issues, but they're tolerable.
