I sense that the containers are an insert joke about the shortage of shipping containers that happened IRL at some points in the past 3 years.
Still don't understand the lore of the actual game, a no nation, army mercenary army using some of the highest tech possible fighting a proxy war? for USA/RU for what reason???
@JediMastaWynTake a BR Hero Shooter and try to cornhole it into a theme backwards. This is what you get a hodge podge of unrelated information.
The killer for me is that we have the same Specialists in both factions. It is one thing to run around with 5 other Mackays on your team, but then shooting at other Mackay characters at the same time kills any possible immersion.
The shipping containers are just related to the storage of precious goods after the world economies tumble. That is how a bulk of goods are moved, including in the military (MILVAN, CONEX, ISU-90, etc).

It's not that far from the Ukraine war.
Ukrainians are being used by the US to fight Russia and Russia has been using Ukrainian Russians in the South East to fight the US.
And one of the things being fought over is energy as we saw when the US sabotaged Nord Stream to hamper Russia's supply of energy to Germany among others.
