What is the point of Soflam?
Really, what's the point if you still have to get an AA lock on before firing and it can be flared away even through the Soflam lock? Or am I missing something here?

I use it only when i'm sniping - it spots enemies, while also indicating their distance from you. Also always soflam vehicles i encounter, which allows teammates to lock onto them with recoiless M5
