I love the chaos that 128 delivers. When I play the 64's, I feel like the game is seriously dead as we know it to be. The maps need to be reworked with more infantry design in, more ATVS, Tuk-tuks, and trucks around the maps or even dirt bikes spread across the maps for those who really get the irk to call it a walking simulator.
Spawn points with spawn protection may need to come back as of a result of them spawn kills.
What you mentioned, people shooting from afar before capping the OBJ will happen regardless. You cannot control people, mind you a battlefield. If the team has good cohesion then vwa-lah, concern resolved, your team capped the OBJ before long.
This game like any other battlefield is a team effort, hop to another server I must say. Squad up with someone who can actually squad up with'ya.
Frankly, coming to think of it, squad comm was what changed games, if not fixed all the problems of getting a push done, so if more folks did so, you got yourself something to be happy of every round. Squad play has become less relevant IMO in BF1,BFV, and here BF2042.
This 128 player count sits amazing with me.
