What is your loadout/tactic for gaining EXP for the battlepass?

There are many approaches to gaining as much score as possible.

Kills definitely give the most EXP overall but they also have the greatest risk because people... fight back  XD.

Capturing the objective is the other "EXP bomb" but it is not always reliable because again, the other team also wants the objective for themselves.

Other than that, the other great source of EXP for those who like playing that way, is supporting the rest of the team:

Reviving, Healing, Repairing, Spotting, Disrupting, Smokescreen.

Because these are more of a support to your team than an attack to the enemy team, there is a greater chance off success when doing these activities.

Do not get me wrong, the top players will definitely get the most score possible by just killing others, Like this super aggressive player who kept diving our spawn all round with their 12 auto:

Edit: Yes this player was just a legitimately great FPS player that I fought for several rounds. You see he also paid a high price in deaths for that kill-count. Now, please nobody say again that infantry cannot go 100+. It is all about the skill discrepancy in the server + enemy density.

But you can still score really high even if you are not slaughtering the enemy.

This was my best score for using TUGs + the Blasco Insertion beacon + killing when needed + reviving when needed

Both of these were from Redacted, 32vs32 Breakthrough in the official AoW servers.

I also tried focusing on reviving and healing a lot as Falk, but the score you gain pales in comparison with the score from assisting others as a Recon.

On that note: @ DICE , I recommend increasing the points for reviving/healing others, players just do not do this often enough and extra EXP would be a good incentive.

I have the pokeballs a try and at they seem inferior to me in every way compared to the TUGs for Redacted

@UP_Hawxxeye To claify as I don't think im explaining myself well: I'm using them more in the hopes of an added bonus when I've TUGS in place already.

  • After about a week or so, not caring at all because the gutted rate of progress feels like trash and I'm not about to play more to earn the same stuff. Game is decent, but not THAT good.

DICE just being DICE and constantly making awful, terrible, no-good decisions that hurt the game and player experience for no apparent reason. "But the season is longer!" so give us more to work towards. Let us take a few weeks break if we've finished up the BP. Let us just get some XP for levels (which are pointless but whatever) like we've been doing.

I'm not about to cheese half this season because DICE can't stop being pointlessly hostile and antagonistic towards their playerbase.

I'm still cackling about the "engineer update" that ended up being a few minor tweaks and maybe half the scope of the changes to recon, rofl. Really just instilling a lot of confidence in DICE for the next BF.

I usually go as Falck. I try to get all the ribbons and then heal, revive and resupply as much as I can while trying to sneak in a kill here and there.
