@ATFGunr I think so. Apparently, I was “Player 49” and the other guy was “Player 27” and after the incoming damage ticks of 57, 58, and 59 I was still alive. It wasn’t until after our names flipped in the damage box to our in-game player names did all the incoming damage register on me all at once.
I can only assume it was the same for the other guy as you can see his health bar didn’t change much from my incoming damage even though I was getting hit markers. When I died, he was still at 3/4 health on his bar. I play on an extremely low latency connection and it appears as if my incoming damage updated out of sync on the server before he received my hits. The amount of 30mm splash damage the other player took should have killed him before the incoming ticks of 57, 58, and 59 from his pistol registered.
I’m seeing a lot of strange things going on in game when the incoming damage box only displays “Player ID” numbers instead of in-game names. High latency out of area players should be auto kicked by the system to maintain the integrity of the gameplay/server for everyone.
