What one can learn about Xbox vs. PS players from looking at the K/D leaderboard

I checked the Leaderboard for BF2042 to see how many players on Xbox and Playstation respectively who have a K/D of 3.50 or above. The result is interesting: 1137 on Xbox, but 2501 on Playstation. T...

@VOLBANKER_PCYou forgot the most obvious one, PS5 simply outsold Xbox, so there simply are more PS5 players.

@VOLBANKER_PC Number of copies sold of the game would be per rato related to the number of consoles.
On top of that, I don't know if Xbox has something like PS+ where the game has been on offer for free? As on PS there was a month you could pick up a free copy of the game for a full month, which would've boost the # of copies on PS even further.

@RanzigeRidder2 I can't remember if it's been given away free yet like it was for PS+, but we can access a version* of it through Gamepass.

*Might be the last gen version. I can't remember for certain and I'm at work so can't easily check.

@ElliotLH It was given away on Xbox more or less around the same time it was for PlayStation, if I remember correctly. I remember seeing a flood of low levels after each release.

I think the gamepass (EA Play) version is valid for both old/current-gen as well.

  @Anobix Thanks for that info dude. I get a bit mixed up since I've got multiple copies of the game kicking around (disc, digital, EA Play).
  
  Just checked EA Play on my Xbox and can see the X/S version but not the last gen one. Unless it's just showing me that as I'm on my Series X. Thinking about it I could swear that one of my friends plays the last gen one of his XB1X, so I think you're right there too.
