@Pyr0phobic- lock squad. Leave squad. Start new squad. Join squad. Kick player from squad. VoIP to aid playing with randoms.
Bonuses for squad play - more points for squad support action over team actions. Squad kill assists. Better signalling of squadmates with needs you can address, i.e. need healing, need ammo, need revive. Better resupply (2 rockets) for squad resupplies.
Call-ins related to squad play. Perhaps nothing as devastating as the V1 in BFV (imagine dropping that on B1/B2 on Manifest!), but sector artillery, for instance, would be welcome.

Totally agree. Seems DICE wanted to dissuade friends / established groups form playing together in this game. .....no VOIP, no real control over squads, etc.
