So Just Today I finally finished Tier 1 for Dozer..
Yes, I slapped 800 people with a shield.
And I tell you now.. it's far from over powered.
You run slower with it out, your turn speed gets reduced to what feels like 30%.
You get side stepped by what feels like professional Rugby Players.
If your caught in the open, you're dead.
If you get caught by 2 players, you're dead.
If someone throws an incendiary grenade at your feet, you're dead.
Yes the shield can stop bullets from any gun, and yes, it can tank a direct hit from a tank, but the Negatives far out way the Positives.
So No, the shield doesn't need to be nerfed, or have a mechanic where it can only soak X amount of damage.
Try maining Dozer for a couple of full length games and then try tell me his shield is over powered.
Sidestep aroun the shield => profit
The shield is litteraly an R magnet
- @BaknPowder I think it needs to be added to. A ribbon for "damage absorbed"
Run around him, can't turn fast with the shield out. I think it's ok considering that's the only thing that specialists has going for it.
