I am around S272. I stopped caring about the level after hitting the S levels. It felt super redundant after that. Once they changed the requirements for Specialists, I basically gave up on those as well as nothing felt like a real achievement anymore.
I started at launch.
I would prefer a tiered system with rewards at every tier (even just a player card or something). So instead of 1000 levels, have 10 tiers of 100, and award something cosmetic or something to signify the achievement. Also, it should get incrementally harder for each level. It seems to level off and be the same amount of XP per S-level as far as I can tell (which is kinda boring as well).
Hitting that level takes some serious dedication (and a lot of time), so to get nothing for it seems like a buzzkill, but congrats again, an impressive milestone nonetheless.
