When is DICE actually going to listen to feedback?

Exposure 64 - completely ruined by spawncamping helos and jets.  Because the stupid game spawns you back in the exact same place in the RU base every time, there was absolutely no chance to defeat them.  Easy kills for them every time you spawned.  OP helos just spawncamped popped flares, then dived below cliff face to replenish.  2 enemy jets took care of wildcats, and any friendly jets that appeared.

Enemy pilots finished the game 41-0 and 39-3 - round ended in 10 mins.

And this is meant to be fun?  How are we meant to counter that?  There are SO MANY posts with feedback saying there is no way to counter OP air vehicles, they constantly spawncamp (especially on 64 player maps) and ruin so many rounds.  DICE do absolutely nothing in response.  When pilots complain someone shot at them once, DICE nerf engineers to the ground.

2042 has been plagued by extremely poor vehicle balance since launch and here we are 2 years later, and we still have the same issues.  It's OK - here is a weapons skin we've been working on.  NO ONE CARES!

Nice one DICE, way to listen to your playerbase.

  • @MADMAC50K Try stranded 64p. It doesnt have jets. Or wildcat. But it does have helislot.

Standed 64p is proof DICE might hate any rudimentary form of counterbalance by simply... not implementing it.

Does DICE really think FXM AA launcher, or soflam or dart+jav and Liz are going to down a helisweat farming the server? So naïve.

@D-Man3847I kept spawning in the LAT-V with Flak - got destroyed within seconds. Doesn't help that the LAT-V also kept spawning in exactly the same place every time too.  Whatever fixed AA is added - needs to be durable and not instantly destroyed.

@Wargame_Enj0yer I would love to avoid the spawncamping maps - if only we had a server browser - another massively requested item DICE have completely ignored from the playerbase.

So back to my original question - do DICE ever listen to feedback!?
  • @MADMAC50K DICE does listen to feedback. But only with both eyes closed and 10% of what they can hear. They lost 90% of their hearing due to the noise from the jet and rotorengines they've been eagerly catering to.

FFS, even that long in it's lifecycle there is still no base anti-air nor server browser.

DICE studio working on BF2042 polished a failed game to generate quick profit and salvage a sinking ship. They never were serious for this game.

Exactly. They listen -- but they decided to actively NOT act on what basically the whole community is asking for.

The VHX nerf took MONTH, even though even my grandmother would have noticed how much this was needed.

The whole community is constantly asking for a server browser or more importantly persistant server instances and a map rotation basically SINCE LAUNCH. Those things would be ridiculously simple to implement (as they ALREADY EXIST for Portal) and still Dice is actively refusing to do that.
  • @MADMAC50K They had no time,.had to nerf the vhx, mich more important. You do know it's air boys only? Groundplay, as bf always was, is not important anymore, all is aimed to air stuff

I don't need to list how many things that EA/DICE have ignored. They think they know better until they steer the ship into a reef. I really see that coming.

I mean they do on some of it. I don't think a server browser will ever come to this game. They are locked into whatever deal they made. The 2025 BF is our best shot at having a browser again.
