There are long waiting times in the lobby. Even if you wait a long time, you are likely to play with 20 to 40 AI bots. Isn't the decrease in players and the long waiting times in the lobby a sign that something is wrong? Did the players leave my game or did they turn to alternative games? So what is the reason for them leaving? Don't you think there is something wrong? What does EA think about this decrease in the number of players?

I have observed the same and a good question from irikotori. I am playing in the Oceania region and can basically only start a game with FNB games as it allows 1 player to start. Long may it continue.

It's very hard for me to know this. I live in Turkey. I'm in Istanbul. I'm on the European continent, but I don't know whether the servers I use are from the Asian or European continent. Judging by the nicknames and conversations of the players I play with, I think I'm on the European servers. But it doesn't really matter to me because there is also a strong player base in Asia.

The game is almost 3.5 years old, so yes player decline can be expected at this stage of the life cycle. Depending on region and if you play with crossplay on or off finding full servers might become more and more challenging.

irikotori are you on PC? If so I can show you how to see which region matchmaking is connecting you to. It involves running a traceroute.
