The lack of new Portal maps is particularly irritating when it was a separate studio working on Portal. Why weren't they continuing to update old maps? Nothing beats a bit of nostalgia and a couple of new portal maps each season would have tempted a lot of long term players back.
At this point, unless they have a surprise waiting for us, I don't think we will see anything new for Portal beyond the toolkit used to make games. Another disappointment for 2042.

Yea, who knows, maybe it'll end up being a merry x-mas and 2023 will be the start of a much more productive year for 2042.
It would seem that with such a small crew in place that it's just a pipe dream at this point, but along with such big hopes brings those warm fuzzy feelings that are difficult to suppress 😬
