@XD-DAWG11 Sorry for double posting. The problem with All-Out-Warfare is with the balance of assets on the map.
There are huge distances between flags - it has been the same even in BF2 (2005). But the difference is that by almost every flag there was a transport vehicle, LAV, or even a tank. So fighting for a given point was meaningful and usually, and there were means of transport. Right now You spawn by the flag and there is 1 vehicle or none in 2042.
In 2042 there are fast hovercrafts with miniguns on top. Why won't we have some light scout vehicles with .50 cal, LAVs, slow 4x4 trucks, quads, motorbikes as well to help with navigating over the map? Hovercrafts don`t really fit most of the maps and are slightly too fast and OP in general with a Gatling gun.
For example, hovercrafts might be only available by the seashores not all over the map or droppable! Bring some standard transport.
You just Spawn and there are 400-600 meters usually to get to the point on 128 maps. Conquest is meant to have a slightly higher count of ground transport vehicles. I would see more vehicles and have them slower by at least 5-10%.
What discourages me also is the fact that the minimap is small and not adjustable. Even in BF2, I may press N to change the zoom of the minimap between 3 formats. Minimap has to be at least 50% bigger because the map is huge, I`m getting lost more often than in any previous battlefields because of vast empty spaces it`s harder for me to say who am I facing at a given time.
