Where is TDM, SQTDM, DOMINATION, GUNMASTER?!
What happened to classic Team Deathmatch, Squad Deathmatch, Domination, Gun Master... Capture the Flag, Chainlink, Obliteration in core BF2042 and the list goes on.

It appears as EA/DICE considered all those all-time classic BF game modes to be 'legacy' and hence purposely not to be available in the "modern" BF2042?
Personally I do not understand their attitude and decision making on this, as all these game modes should of course all have been available by default at game launch!
Now however that time has unfortunately long past where it was possible to make the game good and resurrect it from the dead. Because if adding them all in now, there are simply no longer sufficient number of players around even to populate them anymore in any meaningful way. Even the basic conquest and breakthrough game modes have been suffering from the now devastating low player count. And many regions are now even without any servers anymore for them to play on.
Whatever is being done to this game now is all too little and too late.
