Where is the lore connection to Battlefield 2142?

Title says it all.  Where is it?  I see literally nothing about this game that connects to BF2142.  Even Battlefield 4 Final Stand DLC had all kinds of BF2142 connections:  hover tanks, rail gun snip...

im glad there isnt anything connecting this trash to 2142.  

2142 was a actual battlefield game.
