Wheres the balance on the weapons? There hasnt any weapon balancing since then on dmg and rpm nerfs i get tired of losing to gunfights by avancys and ac42

perhaps work on how you approach enemies and try to shoot first?
@Psubond Not working when an enemy is a bush wookie camping with 200 round suppressed Avancys that has no recoil.
Its just a matter of balance to nerf some weapons such as SFAR and Avancys because they make other weapons inferior

Some guns work fine but most of the guns are just meh. Personally I find that using the right guns (Scar, M16, Avencys, M5A3 etc) makes a big difference.
Too many of the weapons are just not good at any distance compared to other weapons. The LMGs (LCMG, PKP) are mostly not worth it because they are outgunned by SMGs (and ARs) at close distances and they are outclassed by ARs at longer distances. SMGs are very situational (as they have always been), but in 2042 the maps are even bigger than ever and they are mostly useless compared to ARs. The DMRs are just in general bland (except for the BSV-M).
Gun balance have always been a problem for Dice and they have struggled with this in the previous titles as well. For me the best part of 2042 is the free weapon choice, at least you are not forced to using specific types of guns, that "suck" on many of the maps (like medics with SMGs in BFV).
