@NazT55nope, EMP doesnt give you "HACK WARNING" in bright yellow, i know the difference.
The drone was above and left of me, and the HACK directional indicator was at my 11 clock position, matching the vertical direction of the drones position.
I wouldn't even be asking this if i knew it was something else. and my Shadow Play has expired now, so I dont have it on video, but it was DEFINITELY a hack warning pointing at the very direction of the drone.
I know the indicator does not give me vertical awareness but horizontal, and where the drone was, the animated warning pointed right at it.
if you were playing breakthrough, there are almost always drones over objectives and given the range they are usually in the same location. on top of that they spot you so it makes it so rao players know exactly where you are. you're not getting hacked every time a drone is spotting you, but you probably have a drone above you when you get hacked by rao especially in breakthrough

@Psubondno this was Hourglass CQ Large.
And check your DM'sidk then, the new specialist can disrupt with her gadget, was it that?
- AOD_CapStar3623 years agoSeasoned Ace@Psubond no, this was clearly RAO - i had the very bright "HACK WARNING" and the animated lines on my HUD. but i was deep back in the US Uncap of Hourglass where it would be impossible to get back there on foot or even deep diving with a vehicle and still have time. but sure enough, a Casper drone was right above me.

The hack warning message relates to Rao so normally I'd link this to him (Casper's drone doesnt hack infantry of course). However, I did notice when playing the tank CQ mode in Portal that I kept seeing the location revealed message which you get when Paik scans an area, despite either being surrounded by other tanks or out of the action somewhere else, so perhaps the messages are bugged?
