Why (almost) No One Uses Squad Commands?

Or your constantly the only one in a squad who even knows about Sq leader commands and also the only one able to communicate via text chat...Yet you are almost never defaulted to squad leader! So much wasted XP
There is a little more Xp for having the Objective selected when Capping or Defending. I don't know if it's bonus like ALL of the previous BF titles.
Don't get me started! This right here man. First two live weeks. I spent each match giving directions to console players on how to make me sq leader. Most people were with it because i usually had another person i was teamed with.
I'd say, "hey *******, Kream and I are in a party, please switch one of us to sq leader. press start/squad hover over my name and then the key to make sq leader. was about 50% effective...
