Why bring back Audio Spotting?

@ragnarok013 Also one more thing. I think you said it. The audio queues in the game are bad but that should be something that needs to be fixed, not use audio spotting as a fix for that.
Secondly, I just listened to the sniper shot sound without a suppressor and it doesnt sound loud and powerful at all. It sounds like someone sneezing. But it still puts you on the map.
That's the opposite of what should happen. If you ever listened to the sniper shot sound in BF1 on say Monte Grappa, the shot would ring out and you would hear a distinct echo that sounded so amazing.

Not everyone has good surround audio system or good headphones. That basically means that making audio very important for a casual game like BF a bad design choice. In earlier BFs you either use silencer and don't show on minimap or don't and you get better bullet velocity and less drop. Either can be good depending on the situation.
Shame they didn't bring back proper 3d spotting, that would be fantastic.

Bring back the glory days of BF3/BF4 when people werent scared AF of not using a suppressor, werent scared AF of being spotted, and werent scared AF of getting killed!
One thing I did notice tonight though is that the enemy is nowhere near their dot on the mini map!
- @Goinggrey123 So then why get rid of 3D spotting? It's not about being scared of being killed. It's about firing your gun and then the entire enemy team being able to hunt you down based on a dot on a map. It's a bad game mechanic

Lets not get silly, and say an ENTIRE enemy team IS going to hunt you down because you shoot your weapon. That would be just being paranoid & scared.
Personally i like both, and loved the BF's that had them both in. I liked being able to find enemies, and them able to find me.
- @ilosuppilo But that's just it. Why would you get rid of 3D spotting then? Either keep them both or get rid of them both. The decision doesn't make any sense
