why can i not play battlefield 2042 without a box live membership

Hi why is it that i can not play the bf2042 game with out membership, i was going to play offline with the bots today to see  if you have made the game any better then last time i went on it. do not ...

Because Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo found out they could get away with taxing people for playing online.
This is another reason I am playing on PC

    Very true always hated to pay extra just to play online with friends loved the PS3 could play online with no cost did not have playstation plus back in the day
