Because they throw them in AoW without any real testing before, so without knowing if they even slightly match the real AoW guns power.
As sad as it sounds, that's how it is.
And then later on they'll be adjusted a few times, just cause players start complaining that they're weak.

What makes them feel so weak vs AOW weapons?
@GrizzGolf well some of them felt like the damage or any sort of multipliers were different than on regular guns. Some had a pretty high recoil kick and also spread.
You have barely any attachments to adjust your gun to your play style or to compensate some recoil ect.
You are pretty limited overall.
Also no different ammo types to choose from.
And the guns just in general didn't feel well and you noticed you sometimes get killed more easy in a 1v1 when using some of the vault guns.

I agree with everything you said. I was just wondering if you felt the same as I did on them.
For me personally think just adding the vault weapons is just a lazy way to add more stuff to 2042 ( probably an unpopular opinion) I wish that either you had to unlock attachments on the vault weapons like other weapons , or at least modernize these weapons so instead of the 416 it's the 616 or something.
You know if it's the future and you have railguns ect why would you want to go out with an M16 made in the 1950's?
- NazT553 years agoSeasoned Ace@majorvex I agree just plain lazy. And the devs can say well we added more weapons. The additions feel so underwhelming when compared to AOW weapons.

What makes it even worse is that all I have left for T1s are the vault weapons, so my OCD self will be enduring a lot of pain for the foreseeable future. With nary a black and red skin to receive for my efforts. Though I will say that the A91, which I was hating for awhile, is growing on me a bit after 1000 kills with it.
- NazT553 years agoSeasoned Ace@DaMutha1 I thought the devs said they were going to add T1 to the vault weapons at some point but I could be wrong.
If they do add T1 skins/attachments for vault weapons I hope it's retroactive since I have almost all of them at T1 already.

They are going to add the attachments I just hope we can grind for them
