Why does Dozer not have a cooldown?

@battlejokeDeadly shields are a meme in FPS games since CoD did it.
But honestly he is nowhere as dangerous as people make him out to be, especially when the encounter is not a duel in a narrow corridor.
I know that it can be frustrating to die due to a shield bash, but is is far from a big threat in the grand scheme of things....unless like 10 people start to make shield walls. But 10 people who are actually playing as an organized unit are a threat regardless of which specialist they pick, even 10 boris turrets next to each other could be dangerous
Agree with @UP_Hawxxeye Dozer is nowhere as dangerous as some people make him to be. He's been nerfed already, making the range of his shield shorter and it seems also the angle of protection has been reduced. Meanwhile there are several counters; incendiary grenades, shooting at his exposed feet, drop C5 and wait until he runs past it. Yet still too many people panic when they see a Dozer charging and start running, making themselves easy targets to get shot in the back.

by the way, what is the effect of the concussion grenades on Dozer?
If it is the same as on the other soldiers, then that might also work.But shooting at the feet is by far the best counter. You either kill him or he has to crouch and become much slower.

Another countermeasure is a defib against the shield b.t.w.You can stun him like everyone else if the grenade detonates on his 180⁰ - it gets a little trickier depending on when/how his shield is deployed though (he still gets stunned but the shield does help get him back to normal quicker as it acts like a wall - at least that's what I believe).
I think Dozer has already received a nerf but it does make sense he should have a tiny cooldown (those shields have gotta be heavy lol). That said, as annoying as he can be, I think he only really ecels in very specific situations and someone who knows he's there can trick him into kneeling or turning
I must suck with Dozer b/c I always have trouble killing someone with his shield.
if i may, shield up and just moving forward freaks out most people and they just start backpedaling lol
if they start shooting at your feet then crouch and keep moving forward.
if they reload then run a bit to close distance...
if they throw a nade a few things you can do here are a couple examples:
if nade hits shield and or bounces off of it
= just crouch and wait it out then continue moving forward
if nade goes to your side or past you
= you can run forward to make some range then shield up soon because they will try shooting ayyyyyy you
if they throw c5 same thing but face shield towards c5
they can't shoot you while trying to detonate c5 so watch if they pull out gun, otherwise shield towards c5
= if they switch to gun then they can't detonate any more so start moving toward them again
always keep moving toward them
crouch if they try shooting feet
if they start running away = back shoot them like it is 1888 wild west Haha

- @amd5600xt All good tips. However on the reload part, as soon as your enemy needs to reload it provides the perfect window for switching from shield to gun and shoot them, or throw a nade at them.
