Winning isn't top priority because outside of custom matches battlefield is a super casual game and has been that way for some time now. The game is designed with solo players in mind. It's why squads are limited to 4 players without any way to support larger group play. Folks don't even care about KD anymore. All folks are trying to do is complete battlepass challenges.
Winning won't matter until Dice decides to overhaul the social features and supports larger size group play.
