@FaTaL_DReaMS1 You must not play much. Classes are NOT the core of the franchise. It's an artificial restriction on a game that's based on big maps, conquest and rush, infantry and vehicles. Everything we got at launch. Now we have all the arrow signs saying you can't do this and that.
BF can evolve. If you don't care for it, that's fine. BF4 is still a thing.

It gives the illusion of group play to brain dead randoms that probably aren't very good let alone decent at the game in the first place. Social features and expanded group play is how you achieve coordination and team play in battlefield. Battlefield is only ever at its best when its an organized group vs organized group. BF2042 doesn't cater to large scale group play. There's only so much a squad of 4 can do in a match. There's no point in going out of your way to play like a "casual sweat lord" when chances are you'll never play the same players again with the way match making works in AoW.
- @FaTaL_DReaMS1 Worthless? That's what BF has become now. If it doesn't grow then every other shooter is gonna take over. We aren't playing BF because it's BF, we were playing because it was fun once.
- @DPsx7 And that’s a problem if I wanted speaker COD/FORTNITE I’d play that trash. I play BF because it WAS a far superior game
There is more incentive and focus put on leveling up and earning badges than winning so naturally players will gravitate towards that. I'm super competitive/sweaty so it really hurts my soul to see players almost intentionally throwing games and not doing things "properly" but at the end of the day, it's just a game,and I guess I shouldn't be getting so worked up.
