I mean why wouldn't you want to ping enemies it gives you points. Just like I don't understand why people don't want to heal, revive and give ammo as it gives points as well?
Yep, it's weird, I am a spotting like crazy myself.
Maybe players aren't spotting because it plays an animation of your arm and hand pointing and delays you actually shooting.
They should remove the animation kicking in.

Totally agree, it's supposed to be a team game afterall.
I don't understand the ping system. I NEVER see others that people ping.
