Why does no one use the ping system on enemies??

As the title says why don’t you use it. I’m literally spamming pings on enemies of locations of suspected enemies. Yet I see even squad mates who’ve just been killed not pinging the location of the e...

It can be useful only while alive but when you are down is hard to ping because the character do some weird rounds on the ground after being shot and by the time it remains still and you can take control of the view around then is too late and enemy just went out or finished to kill you.
