This video has the settings and options that can minimize your "felt recoil"
At least one streamer on console is confirmed to be using this:
Another streamer is using M&K - on console.

I have no idea how Dice decide the limit of the recoil reduction. On paper it looks huge.
I play on PC since long, know about managing recoil with mouse or how to modify FOW for visual recoil.
But there was an event that made me wonder if Dice was doing things wisely. One big nerf with recoil on the PKP-BP. This weapon was a joke, it has no recoil... and Dice fixed it with a huge first kick.
I may be wrong, but at least for a couple of months i didn't get killed once by a M&K user with PKP but still died from controler users with this gun. And i thought that maybe, the recoil reduction for controlers helped them to still be competitive with this gun when M&K just abandonned it.
Since the gun has been slightly patched again, and new LMGs took it's place in the heart of players. i think pkp can no longer be considered an indicator.
You can find vidéos on Youtube from pro players saying "look this no recoil weapon" using controler or M&K. But they are pros. How about the majority of the player base?
I wonder for less experienced players, does average PC player really master their PC settings and mouse control? does average controler user have soo much difficulties draging down when firing to control recoil to make the difference and make mandatory such difference in weapons caracteristics?
Honestly i can't say.
But as i have rather evil spirit, i suspect that EA/Dice won't be against a little help for players who have to spend more money for the same game, and who are more.
- Adamonic3 years agoLegend@VOLBANKER_PC "most" streamers on console, and a lot of console players. Not hard to tell which ones either.
- VOLBANKER_PC3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Adamonic I don’t think it’s a lot of console players that are using Cronus (I could be wrong).
Sometimes there is a player that is downright impossible for me to kill and where I get the feeling that “this guy is unnaturally good”. But it’s not that often.
I am decent at the game with human K/D 2.17 and I record deaths of mine that seem suspicious. Almost always it’s because I made an error, typically in positioning. Only rarely there’s that one death where I think “No way this just happened, enemy must have been cheating/a Cronus user”
