Why Does Persistent Server Option Not work in Portal?

I purchased Battlefield BattlePass Premium and created by own Portal server (Conquest) at the EA site. But when I go to start hosting the server, the 'Persistent Server' option is grayed out. I thought I had done everything to be able to access this option. Why doesn't it allow me to select the Persistent Server?

    Once you have launched BF2042 are you turning the option on in the game options menu?  If you are then I have no idea but it confused the hell out of me when creating a server through the website that you couldn't do it their.

    @Zavrix1 I now see the persistence server option on the Host page when you launch a server in portal, but it is grayed out, so I can't select it. This is very frustrating, because the persistent server is the only reason I purchased the premium pass. I opened a case with EA because I think DICE busted this option with the last software update.
