Why don't we get any more NEW Maps with this game? It's getting boring with the lack of maps for this game.Especially seeing how low the map count was at release and when compared with previous games.And lets not forget that this game was released with NO Campaign whatsoever, so really there is no excuse at all for the low map count. We paid the same full price for the game, but got a smaller / reduced game content!

@80uwjx4m1chc All the maps were designed with Hazard Zone in mind, and not All out Warfare Conquest or Breakthrough, even the narratives behind the maps only make sense for Hazard Zone. So I assume all prepared maps share the same issues.So the reworked maps change a lot of that, but as we heard several times, the number of assets on the maps are limited, and the sheer size of them contradicts a compelling AoW map design.I assume all prepared maps share the same "issues", and I also assume that all prepared maps for the seasons share the same issues.Currently they remodel the maps, and every new iteration make them better than the launch maps, but they still can't shed their inheritance.I assuming the rework of the existing maps is as time consuming than creating new one. And I also assume, the devlopers have the mission not to waste the maps that were so expensive to make.So we got reworked versions of Kaleidoscope, Manifest, Orbital, Renewal, and next week Breakaway. With Exposure, Spearhead, and Stranded, that are 8 new maps since launch.I don't say you are wrong, but in my opinion ,what BF2042 needs are not more map, it needs better maps, more focused on a Conquest or Breakthrough experience.

I still hold out hope that after season 5 we get 3 more seasons and 3 more new maps. I doubt we will. The new maps have been amazing

@GrizzGolfI also feel that the new maps have been of better quality than the original AOW maps, especially Spearhead and Exposure.

@80uwjx4m1chc the devs are well aware of the lacking content, but they are also well aware that no funding will be given by EA to even add half the content BF4-BF1 had at the end... this game is a money sinkhole and EA will do many things but throw money at a game as poorly recived as this... and for many no amount of new stuff will bring them back to this game and rightly so!

@X-Sunslayer-X I get that, but, It doesen't seem as though people are really bothered about this though because this has been here for a few days now and yet no real interest seems to be shown.
When I look at the count for the Server Browser it tells you what people are looking for. And yet I would have thought that Everyone would like more maps.
And the more that post to it or vote for it the more chances we have of Developers taking note.
Obviously I'm completely wrong

They can release Battlefield 2 (2005) maps, weapons, vehicles and gadgets.
Battlefield 2042 maps looks all the same with a big vehicle in the middle, or a big build in the middle, it looks like they don't know what to do with maps, so instead Bring back Battlefield 2 (2005) maps, and I will save them time.

Game did not sell as well as they had hoped and support has been at the legally obligated minimum for over a year now.

@kregora i will not count reworks as new content because in all honesty these "reworks" are just DICE finishing the maps they didn't get to finish before release, we basically played the alpha builds of the maps....

You, little whiners, complained about "Paid DLCs splitting the community", so now the entire community enjoys free drip-fed content spread as thinly as possible.

There is no way EA is going to fund the development of more maps "just because"

We can consider ourselves lucky because they've announced Season 5 with additional "re-worked" map.

Meawhile you can enjoy Battlepass filled with mostly useless garbage

A big irritation for me is that the main mode that's pushed, and thus played, is the one that has older maps on it more often than anything new. So we barely get to play a full rotation of new/revamped maps.
