Why four squad members instead of five?
I just want to answer this simple question. Don’t tell me why five instead of four. At worst five gives you some room if one member isn’t PFTOing

@Kekkset Correct on BF2/2142 with 6 man squads and 1942 and Vietnam didn't even have squads. Bad Company for console is where the squads were lowered from 6 to 4 probably due to the vastly lowered player count.

Squad sizes in recent BF games were:
- BF2: 6. (first BF game I think w squads?)
- BF2142: 6.
- BFBC: 4.
- BFBC2: 4.
- BF3: 4.
- BF4: 5.
- BFHL: 5.
- BF1: 5.
- BFV: 4.
- @SAMURI_FAP Should be 5 with the ability to add 3-5 more in game. Take a page from the survivor games and add people to your squad in game. That would be awesome!
I really wish they would let us change this value in Portal,
but it looks like we are stuck with 4 man squads in portal as well ☹️
