@DizzyMagnum69 Your post about helicopters being underpowered is 4 above a post about the weaponry being overpowered. (The number will probably change, it was 4 at time of this post). So who’s right? Are helicopters too strong or not strong enough? Are you more interested in just harvesting the enemy or should they have a chance at survival? It’s a combined arms game, nothing should be invincible or overpowered so that both vehicles and infantry can play and have fun doing it. They haven’t figured out the balance yet that’s clear, instead of being powerful maybe there should be more of them? They’ve nerfed the numbers of vehicles more than they nerfed the vehicles themselves. IMO that’s the real issue.

- ATFGunr3 years agoLegend@SleepyWeasel68Sounds like an attempt to balance them. Stronger weapons creates an ability for a longer range, which can equal a reduction in rockets flying at your face. The weaker heli also creates a greater respect for the ground pounders from the pilot, who’s going to be way more cautious than the pilots have been on 2042 so far. Players are going 90-0 in a stealth, so that’s still got to be corrected. Get 7-8 kills then die. If is pilot is getting more than 10+ kills in any vehicle, without getting repaired anyways, then it’s no good for the flow of a game. With a small increase in vehicles, you can rinse and repeat, or maybe another player gets a chance to fly instead of one dominant SOB keeping it the whole round.

You mean those things that fly in the air raining down unlimited ammo and rockets, using unlimited fuel, farming infantry that have little defense against them?
