Why is Battlefield 2042 so limited?

Why does battlefield feel so limited, Sure people can create their own game, but the last I had heard was you can’t get full XP.

I liked in battlefield five you could actually see what maps and game modes were in progress and you could join at any time if room. Am I missing something in battlefield 2042? 

what happened to hardcore? 

it seems like things that can be destroyed are very, very limited in this game compared to other releases. I enjoyed the feeling of full out war but this game doesn’t seem to have that feel. 

I bought the scheme as soon as it came out so it’s not like I just started playing it. I think I’m just more annoyed that it hasn’t improved. It feels like somewhat the same since the start.

I have gone back to playing battlefield five and battlefield one. 

seems like I always get the same maps over and over. This is where searching for other games in progress and picking the other maps would be nice with full xp.

please let me know if I am missing something.

I had switched from call of duty two battlefield four because battlefield four felt more realistic.
