@Noodlesocks It was doing fine until the nerf patch. They ruined the game then and there.

The issue isn't exclusive to 2042 but it is the most egregious offender. The depth and substance of Battlefield games has undergone a steady erosion over a number of games over the past decade. For reasons unrelated to gameplay I haven't played 2042 since the beginning of season 1 so I couldn't say how much it has improved if at all but I did find the game pretty basic with a very single minded approach to how the gameplay loop is designed.
