DICE/EA abandoned BFV and Battlefront 2 to pool all available manpower at this project, they delayed the game for an entire year and then an additional month, they got the help of 3 additional studios on the game and for what? a game that plays worse them most indie developed games do nowadays.....
the state of this games release is inexcusable and i will die on that hill if need be.
imagine buying a Mercedes at full prize and they mail you your licenseplate with a note saying here is your product the rest will arrive within the next 6ish months come by the workshop to get it installed....

A 6 month wait for your new car is the norm in 2022.
Most people are either playing or not and does not come here to post anything. Those that do are the ones that care. Also some trolls of course, but hey, this is the internet.
We do need players that care. My wish is that we can deliver our feedback with less toxicity and entitlement.
Also a willingness to move forward from existing games. When bf2 was released it was a huge step up from bf1942. Are we done now? Bf4 was perfection and cannot be improved? Of course not.
For example: It feels like a lot of players discarded specialists and free loadouts before they even tried it and are now locked in their opinion. The devs put a lot of thought into this change, perhaps more than previous changes to classes up through the franchise's installments. We should consider it and try it out and try to make it work… then it might end up with that it was a wrong turn and we should revert to more strict loadouts and classes, but we don’t know that yet. We are all still noobs playing this game and will be for months still.
So stop whining and bashing, but keep reporting bugs and engage in discussions about the way forward.onwards and upwards!

Players care when they are blatantly ripped off from content promised.
The devs but no effort into the specialists just copied and pasted stuff.
The cheesy lines the specialists spout is aimed 10 year olds at most.
A tornado that does not damage anything does not change the map which it should of course.
I see you bring troll word in as some do not agree with your views. DICE/EA have already stated they have moved onto the next game a hero shooter.

We actually got the game.
If anything it would be like buying a Mercedes, and then realising that "Oh I actually wanted some other car instead" after you drive it home.@BizzyVapingthe difference between you and i then appears to be that i expected a more polished game.... guess i just expect too much nowadays....
i mean with DICE having all the extra time and studios and this is their A game....You actually did not get the finished game it was a beta at full price that's the issue

They stated they were way ahead of schedule apparantly 🙂

Maybe there are some manufactures that have sold cars which needs to be returned because they have issue which were there since production in the factory?
Maybe there are some manufactures that are selling cars with faulty information about exhaust gas values or they don't mention that a software alters these values if you really drive the car? (And have different values on a test place for measuring these values…)
And Imagine in some country you get compensated for it and in other country buyers still having a lawsuit and don’t get compensated 😉 And imagine that the lawyer from these manufacturers is turning this situation and claiming that this is the fault of the buyer of these cars? This is what happens in my country 😉
So, this is a bad example to compare such problems which already existing related to a value of a video game….
Here in my country the seller has the right to improving\repair things If a purchased item does not correspond to the agreed quality. So, in this case with BF2042 I only see bugs and balance issue which applies to this point. And DICE is already working on it.
