So I just don't get why all I read is how bad 2042 is..... I'm really enjoying the game... sure there's issues but there is on every game launch The bugs made me laugh, the wait times remind me of...

We actually got the game.
If anything it would be like buying a Mercedes, and then realising that "Oh I actually wanted some other car instead" after you drive it home.
You actually did not get the finished game it was a beta at full price that's the issue
It was like your new car being delivered without a steering wheel.
Why defend them when they lied about the game.
They stated they were way ahead of schedule apparantly 🙂

@Mackstan71 The hate, toxicity and name calling is out of control. Hell, someone went so far as to call those who like the game "boot lickers". It's all pretty damn immature if you ask me.
- @Chief2GFD Come on!...you upset about the word boot lickers? names come across back and forward from those who like the game and those who don't like the game. Boot licker is the least worse in this one. I do agree that some go to far by wishing another person worser things in life, or call them names that isn't appropriate( plenty examples goes by this forum and other social medias)....no need for that. If the game works for you?...fantastic..please do enjoy. For me and many others it isn't,and that's frustrating. The visions on how this game must be is very various here..but hey...we're just humans. Who is right lies sometimes somewhere in the middle. Some goes over the edge, and some just stand by the edge. And yes...there are plenty things that need to be fixed..better sooner than later. We all want to play this game which we love so much and Tbag each other.

How do we know they weren't ahead of schedule? We don't really know anything about what their overall vision for the game was.
Assuming they weren't a head of schedule would mean we also have to assume that the "missing features" people complain about were actually supposed to have been in the game according to their plan. Thats an awful lot of assumptions.
There's a few features that I miss to, and that I cant think of any good reason why they would leave out, but at the end of the day I still like the game.
