Why is everyone moaning?
So I just don't get why all I read is how bad 2042 is..... I'm really enjoying the game... sure there's issues but there is on every game launch The bugs made me laugh, the wait times remind me of...

@MARLEY_75okay pal your "whataboutism" is imaculate.
"It takes time to perfect things"???? are you for real. DICE/EA abandoned BFV and Battlefront 2 to pool all available manpower at this project, they delayed the game for an entire year and then an additional month, they got the help of 3 additional studios on the game and for what? a game that plays worse them most indie developed games do nowadays.....
the state of this games release is inexcusable and i will die on that hill if need be.
imagine buying a Mercedes at full prize and they mail you your licenseplate with a note saying here is your product the rest will arrive within the next 6ish months come by the workshop to get it installed....
How is that even comparable to the 2042 situation?
We actually got the game.
If anything it would be like buying a Mercedes, and then realising that "Oh I actually wanted some other car instead" after you drive it home.
You actually did not get the finished game it was a beta at full price that's the issue
It was like your new car being delivered without a steering wheel.
Why defend them when they lied about the game.
They stated they were way ahead of schedule apparantly 🙂
You call it "moaning", i call it stating facts that this "game" isn't finished.
@Mackstan71 The hate, toxicity and name calling is out of control. Hell, someone went so far as to call those who like the game "boot lickers". It's all pretty damn immature if you ask me.

How do we know they weren't ahead of schedule? We don't really know anything about what their overall vision for the game was.
Assuming they weren't a head of schedule would mean we also have to assume that the "missing features" people complain about were actually supposed to have been in the game according to their plan. Thats an awful lot of assumptions.
There's a few features that I miss to, and that I cant think of any good reason why they would leave out, but at the end of the day I still like the game.

@BizzyVapingwe can either assume DICE was ahead of sheduele or see the product delivered and come to the conclusion they were not and EA did not care.
the issue remains the game needed at least 6 if nor more months in the oven
Well yeah I'll agree with you on that. Another delay would likely have been the best way to go.
