I strongly suspect that this is why OP has made this thread because Irish can reduce his infantry farming opportunities.
If you actually read the post it’s not about the sentinel at all. It’s about the armor plate and shield camping, which if i was in a nightbird would be very easy to deal with.

@CPT_GASLIGHT If you mean his passive when you say armor plates:
You need to kill 4 enemy soldiers and collect theyr ammo pouches to get the full benefit from his passive, if you want to play arround that.
As for his shield, it’s just his ability, just like it is sundances ability to have unlimited nades, rao has unlimited hacks and so on.
On strenght level it is compareable with dozers balistic shield even though dozers shield is still weaker but mobile.
Which player wouldn’t play with / arround his ability ?
You call it camping, I call it winning gunfights if the enemy seriously thinks he can win the peek from behind my cover.
