Why is the sniper glint that big?

What's up with the sniper glint, does EA devs actually play/test the game before pushing out? I mean, a glint is more than welcome, however that looks like a flashlight and a large white spot on your...

@F_YOUR_AIMLOCK Switch to a scope with 5x magnification or lower (anything less than 6x). Problem solved.
This has been the way since early BF games.

@TooManyWhiners the fact you cant see past that and why a sniper role is merely an assist to the front line style players only shows your ignorance to the situation.
