1. DICE you guys have made a huge mistake by forcing PS5 and Xbox SX/S players to play with PC players. When I disable crossplay I cannot find lobbies anymore, so the console playerbase has to forcefully keep on playing with PC.
2. Apex legends has been an inspiration for the BF2042 developers, but Apex legends only has crossplay in between consoles, i.e(PS4,PS5 and Xbox SX/S, Xbox one). So DICE now you know the console playerbase has been suffering a lot by playing with PC players.
3. I highly suggest adding console only servers for PS5 and Xbox SX/S. This would benefit a big chunk of players like myself who do not want cheaters in their lobby and do not want to sweat their balls off every time they play BF2042.
Thanks I hope you will listen to this feedback.
Maybe if more people were able to purchase PS5 and XBSX consoles for the price that they actually cost then there would be players for these platforms on non-crossplay servers. I see XBOX and PS players in almost every squad that I join. Maybe many people with these platforms don't have a problem with crossplay. I personally think that crossplay is one of the best things about multiplayer gaming right now.

@Skill4Reel Cool. But it should always be optional for consoles to play with PC, for obvious reasons.
The thing is, right now at least, for Xbox it's basically forced. You either play with crossplay on or look at the "waiting for players to join" screen until you get bored and do something else.
Xbox gets no notification that disabling crossplay is even possible, unlike PC and PS5 do when they first launch the game. Xbox can't disable crossplay in-game like PC and PS5 can either, and, assuming you happen to come across the greyed-out toggle option in the game menu, the game menu just tells you to go disable it somewhere in the convoluted system menu. It doesn't tell you where or how to go about doing it.
I'm willing to bet that the majority of Xbox players you're running into in crossplay matches aren't even aware that disabling crossplay is possible. They've been automatically opted into it without notice and haven't been told how to opt out or even that they CAN opt out.
I think you can see how this is more likely to be the thing causing the issues with low player count in non-crossplay matchmaking than lack of availability of the consoles. Yeah, they've been hard to get, but they've both sold millions of units in the US alone.
