@lucky_dutch+1 I've been playing COD warzone for months on Xbox w/ kb&m, it's fantastic! It feels just like a PC you cannot tell the difference in game. I'm still terrible at the game and I get see destroyed by players on Console/ controller all the time but I'm able to play with my PC friends again without thousands of dollars spent on a new PC. I feel ashamed for purchasing BF2042 just assuming kb&m support would be there. I literally played one match on controller and gave up.. back to COD until they right this wrong.

Sorry to hear that you feel you wasted your money.
It might improve in time but I think this is probably one of the games where you revisit it again in a year.
I don’t personally like the gameplay of warzone but they do handle crossplay very well. Controllers get a very strong aim assist that works well even at long ranges and all players have access to keyboard and mouse, if they prefer that.
Net result is that people play what they prefer and everyone is happy. Controllers probably have a slight advantage at shorter ranges with the aim assist but mouse is still way better for sniping. Rock Paper Scissors balance.
- 4 years ago@lucky_dutch I absolutely agree. Being a long time BF player, I think the thing I don't care for about Warzone is the every squad for themselves vs BF where it's two teams fighting. That dynamic just feels weird to me, but my squad has won a handful of times and that is very satisfying and keeps you coming back

I think console players kill me faster than PC players

What is clear is that more and more people think the same. Console gamers don't want to play against pc gamers and more and more pc gamers don't want to play against console gamers.
The solution would be as easy as implementing what currently exists in Apex: play with your platform, all consoles or all (pc included). Very easy solution and everyone happy.

In all crossplay matches I've played (and now you can't turn it off, even if the setting is switched to off), console players are dominating more than PC players. And that can be of any rank. Rank 40s, 50s, 60s racking up huge KDR ratios, beaning heads left right and centre, through walls, pre-emptively firing before you appear despite never being seen before. The aimbot (yes, it is basically an aimbot in this) is so overpowered it makes playing the game feel like an absolute chore. Compared to that brief period after mouse input was adjusted and I got some PC only servers, before an assortment of hackbots started appearing, the game was on fire for me again. I was getting the kind of scores I'd rack up in previous titles. Now its back to what it was, getting my head blown off in four shots by every XBox/PS player in visual range. You cannot win close range firefights without an absolute heap of luck, because they will just snap lock and land all of their shots, whilst they're tanking magazines-worth of ammunition.
TTK vs TTD between PC and console is shockingly unfair and it is making the experience utterly miserable even in a moderately decent round.
